Being a savvy saver is something that must be learned and practiced for success, and the earlier good saving habits are formed, the better. We celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month every April as part of our commitment to our young members.

This year’s theme – “Be a credit union saver and your savings will never go extinct” – helps make saving for the future fun. Join us in helping children appreciate the importance of putting money aside!

1. Open a CommonWealth One youth savings account with as little as $5.  They'll earn 2.1% APY* on the first $1,000 on deposit.
2. Download the CU Youth Month Coloring Page.  All kids age 12 and under will receive a $5 deposit to their CommonWealth One youth account when they submit their CU Youth Month Coloring Page. Plus, there will be a random drawing for $100, $75 and $50 among all entries!²  You can submit your child's entry form here.
